Yu yu hakusho manga twist12/25/2023 ![]() Anyway, a great story, an epic battle, original content, great artwork, and why does this never grab me? The characters are epic failure. + Death Note: Not sure if this is shonen, but since it is in Jump, so. Please tell me why I-Pin can explode, or why there is 10 years bazooka? Is this another case of if Ninja can use magic, so do Mafia? At least Naruto setting isn't Modern Japan. The supernatural element of this story came from nowhere, and rather unexplained. ![]() + Katekyoshi Hitman Reborn: It's not bad, but I just can't get into it. alright, I just can't get to like it that much. It was a fun watch, but it gets really gay later on. + Prince of Tennis: When tennis go DBZ, you got this show. Otherwise means it never get boring nor exciting. + Black Cat: Consistency is this manga strongest trait and weakness. + Hikaru no Go: The ending ruined everything and Ko Yonha is gay. Also the last chapter got to be the most messed up chapter I have ever seen. + Shaman King: Too many characters is the main reason why this manga fall from grace. Replace saving Rukia with Orihime, replace Captains with Espada, replace Yoruichi with Nel, you got A new and exciting arc! YAY. + Bleach: Once it was interesting, now it's just rinse and repeat. That's what essentially Naruto is, a bunch of contradiction and loopholes. When he finally get some shining time telling Neji that "connection" is not important to become Hokage, he didn't realise he contradicted himself as he is the son of Hokage. And so his son work hard to prove he is awesome and hardwork will overcome genius, except that of course the manga revolve around genius Sasuke, not himself. He sealed a demon into his own son Naruto, hoping the son will be remember as a hero, but of course he forgot to tell everyone that Naruto is his son causing him to be hated for most part of his childhood. I mean ninja, who can do crazy stuff like magic. + Naruto: Once upon a time there is a great magician. I guess it's too dark and unsettling for my taste. + Fullmetal Alchemist: I used to like this very much, but now I don't like it that much. LEVEL C: Still like it, but not that much anymore. If I have to nitpick, I feel it lacks eye candy and gets too dramatic in the end ^^''' Very nice storyline, weaved together perfectly. + Rurouni Kenshin: A classic, a great classic. I can't blame the author though, since the card game sells. + Yu-Gi-Oh!: I still can't get over that this may be a better show if it doesn't focus too much on card battles. + Yakitate Japan!: Want absolutely ridiculous humour? Read/watch this one! Unfortunately the later half is so crappy that I can never manage to like this as a whole TT-TT Like Ueki, I don't have a favorite character, BUT I still enjoy the adventure. + Groove Adventure Rave: If we minus the part that the style is a total rip off of One Piece, it's a good show. There is only one problem, I don't really have a favorite character. It also has some of the best battle tactics I have ever seen. + The Law of Ueki: This one gave me a similar feeling with Gash Bell. LEVEL B: Personal Top Favorite, but I sometime question myself why I like it. AND the anime actually get rid the casino chapter! One of my favorite chapter!!! Sena actually looks cute, not retarded like the anime counterpart. + Eyeshield 21: Really, please read the manga, not the crappy anime. I swear someday I will collect the entire manga volumes :] It left you with a really satisfying feeling after you finished reading it. + Konjiki no Gash Bell: My recent obsession. It has very unique style and incredible story telling. It's almost 50 volumes, but I say it still retained its great storyline. + One Piece: Fun is the best word to describe One Piece. Chances of these become Level S is very high. But as usual Togashi likes to end his series without ending *sob* It explores many different possibilities of what a great shonen show can be. I think this one has some of the best stories in shonen world. The author, Togashi is a genius, he never fail to impress me. ![]() + Yu Yu Hakusho: Another one that I consider a masterpiece despite its poor ending. It's one of those I consider a masterpiece. I haven't watch much of the anime, which a lot people say it's crap, but I really really like the manga. + Dragon Ball: The king of Shonen, most shonen came from this show, gotta give this some credit. Since I watched plenty Shonen lately, I decided to make a list of my favorite shonen manga/anime. ![]() Al baby bottle pop flavors12/25/2023 ![]() ![]() Huckleberry Lemonade with blueberry garnish (Non-alcoholic) (New).Chai-spiced Pumpkin Iced Tea: Iced Tea, Chai tea-flavored syrup, pumpkin purée cream, and pumpkin candy crystals (Non-alcoholic) (New).Pumpkin Churro Funnel Cake: Cinnamon sugar, caramel sauce, pumpkin ice cream and whipped topping.Angus chuck patty, red pepper cheese sauce, onion rings, bacon, and BBQ sauce (New) Pecan Pie Sundae: Pecan praline ice cream served with warm butterscotch, whipped topping, and candied pecans (New).Rest In Chocolate Sundae: Rocky road ice cream buried in a chocolate-covered waffle cup with chocolate cookie crumbles and gummy worms topped with a chocolate tombstone (New).Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor (Available Aug. With this design, a DAG run looks for records that were updated within specific dates from this column.įor example, with a DAG that runs hourly, each DAG run is responsible for loading any records that fall between the start and end of its hour. Ideally, each record in your source system has a column containing the last time the record was modified. Using a last modified date is recommended for incremental loads. There are multiple ways you can achieve incremental pipelines. If your DAGs are idempotent, you can rerun a DAG for only the data that failed rather than reprocessing the entire dataset. When the results in each DAG run represent only a small subset of your total dataset, a failure in one subset of the data won't prevent the rest of your DAG Runs from completing successfully. For example, if you have a DAG that runs hourly, each DAG run should process only records from that hour, rather than the whole dataset. You should break out your pipelines into incremental extracts and loads wherever possible. For more information on this topic, see templating and macros in Airflow. You can use one of the Airflow built-in variables and macros, or you can create your own templated field to pass information at runtime. See Avoid top level code in your DAG file.Ĭontrary to our best practices, the following example defines variables based on datetime Python functions: Compared to using Python functions, using templated fields helps keep your DAGs idempotent and ensures you aren't executing functions on every Scheduler heartbeat. Use template fields, variables, and macros īy using templated fields in Airflow, you can pull values into DAGs using environment variables and jinja templating. Atomizing these tasks allows you to rerun each operation in the pipeline independently, which supports idempotence. In an atomized task, a success in part of the task means a success of the entire task.įor example, in an ETL pipeline you would ideally want your Extract, Transform, and Load operations covered by three separate tasks. When organizing your pipeline into individual tasks, each task should be responsible for one operation that can be re-run independently of the others. The following DAG design principles will help to make your DAGs idempotent, efficient, and readable. Designing idempotent DAGs and tasks decreases recovery time from failures and prevents data loss. This can be achieved by designing each individual task in your DAG to be idempotent. In the context of Airflow, a DAG is considered idempotent if rerunning the same DAG Run with the same inputs multiple times has the same effect as running it only once. A program is considered idempotent if, for a set input, running the program once has the same effect as running the program multiple times. Idempotency is the foundation for many computing practices, including the Airflow best practices in this guide. To get the most out of this guide, you should have an understanding of: In general, best practices fall into one of two categories:įor an in-depth walk through and examples of some of the concepts covered in this guide, it's recommended that you review the DAG Writing Best Practices in Apache Airflow webinar and the Github repo for DAG examples. In this guide, you'll learn how you can develop DAGs that make the most of what Airflow has to offer. However, writing DAGs that are efficient, secure, and scalable requires some Airflow-specific finesse. Note the placeholder /log.DAG writing best practices in Apache Airflowīecause Airflow is 100% code, knowing the basics of Python is all it takes to get started writing DAGs. You will discover the solution later in the article. What if you miss a day and want to rerun the task for that day? Are you gonna hardcode that date for this specific day? What if you missed a week? A month? You get it. However, this solution has a severe limitation. It is a little better as the date isn’t hardcoded anymore but based on the current day. What about that instead: from datetime import extract_data(): Hardcoding the date means changing it every day, which makes no sense. How would you implement the task that extracts the data from these directories? I’m sure we all agree the code below won’t work: extract_data(): ![]() Sheriff of nottingham game reprint12/25/2023 ![]() ![]() Thus, though his outlaw opponent shifts easily from location to location, the sheriff's authority and identity are, uniquely, anchored to a single place. Only in Robin Hood and the Monk (circa 1450) is the sheriff not explicitly named as the "sheriff of Nottingham" instead, when Robin attends church in Nottingham, the monk runs out into the streets to find the sheriff. In the early literary tradition of Robin Hood the sheriff is always identified with Nottingham: the ballads may be located in Barnsdale, Sherwood, or an unnamed greenwood, but the sheriff is always associated with Nottingham, and no other urban area. What follows is a brief analysis of the sheriff of Nottingham's appearances and history during three major periods of the tradition's development: the earliest materials available, up to the end of the fifteenth century ( EARLY), the stepping stone texts of the sixteenth through nineteenth centuries ( MIDDLE), and the advent of film and novels in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries ( MODERN). However, the sheriff of Nottingham has been appearing alongside Robin Hood since the fifteenth century and, like his nemesis, his history is complex. Late twentieth- and early twenty-first-century cinematic tastes for consistent characterization have produced more detailed "stock" characteristics for the sheriff. Every novel, film, television series, or other media production which felt the need to include the sheriff used the character differently, and with little lasting impact. Thus, until the 1970s, the history of the sheriff of Nottingham as a character was a virtual tabula rasa. The exception to this rule is when the sheriff is played as utterly crazed and insane: for example, in the television series Robin of Sherwood and the feature film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, where the sheriff's antics draw more narrative and audience attention than his position as Robin Hood's chief enemy. When the sheriff appears in modern productions, his second in command, Guy of Gisborne, frequently steals the show. Even in modern film productions the character is still often unnamed, largely because he continues to serve as an identifiable stock villain. Modernity has not been kind to the sheriff (though his survival rate has generally improved) and he has barely escaped that early anonymity in modern film and literature. Read Less Sheriff, to Robin Hood: "I'll cut your heart out with a spoon!" Even in modern film productions the character is still often unnamed. Nor is the sheriff the same "person": the sheriff is killed in The Geste of Robyn Hode and in Robin Hood and Guy of Gisborne because they are separate stories and are not intended to cohere. The narrative continuity that many modern audiences expect from serial productions on the same topic is not present in the medieval Robin Hood materials Robin is not the same "person" from story to story. Certainly in the late medieval / early modern ballad tradition the sheriff serves more as an incompetent stock villain over whom the protagonist – for the early Robin Hood can hardly be called a hero – continually triumphs. Consequently, the sheriff of Nottingham is rarely granted so much as a personal name. Without a foe who embodies local and national governmental corruption, indicating both personal failings and systemic problems,Robin Hood cannot hope to stand as a resistance figure to unjust authority. ![]() In sum, the sheriff exists because Robin Hood needs the sheriff to exist. The sheriff of Nottingham's role in the Robin Hood legends is not glamorous – nor is his rivalry with Robin Hood particularly personal. Guy of Gisborne: "Why a spoon, cousin? Why not an axe?" It is much more difficult to start on though, as VDJ is more beginners friendly. This one, however, does not have limitations when using it for public events. Traktor can compete with Virtual as it has as well a free program. Overall, at the moment, VDJ has a slight edge over Serato because of the recent updates. VDJ does work with more hardware than Serato, which gives it an advantage.Īlso, Virtual has a stronger streaming program than SDJ has. When compared, these programs are very similar with slight differences when you really get into them. One of the main problems is it does not have a free version to learn on. For audio-only tracks, the application has visualization effects that stay in beat with the music. Furthermore, you are also able to do 4k and HD video mixing. Once you download VirtualDJ on your device, you can sync it to any of your other devices that you have the application downloaded. Over three hundred DJ controllers can be used with VDJ. In the attempt to make sure you can play anywhere you go, VDJ is able to synchronize with most hardware especially Pioneer, Numark, Reloop, Denon, Hercules, Rane and so on. They do allow you to customize this with their emphasis on customization and even have a day mode that has more color, so it is easier to use when using this outside. Now the interface is intuitive and easy to use to find the key elements of mixing. With their newest editions, they have brought a modern feel to the interface and de-cluttered the screen. Hip flexion counters the hip extension that occurs when standing up on a squat. This muscle acts to flex the hip (move the thigh forward and up) and extend the knee. Today’s topic in The Muscle PhD Academy addresses the rectus femoris (middle quads) ability to be activated during squats and leg extensions. □Thus, by turning your toes out you take the slack out of the muscle and increase its ability to contract during leg extensions. The mid quads (rectus femoris) originates in the front of the hip, but it does so slightly towards the inner part of the thigh. Turning the toes in takes slack out of the muscle and automatically increases tension even before you contract the muscle this elevates activation. I used two mini-loaf pans for this recipe.Ĭhinese Turnip Cake tastes best when pan fried, so I refrigerated the steamed turnip cakes overnight and pan fried them the next day. To mold the turnip cakes, the batter is poured into loaf pans and steamed. The binder in this recipe is finely ground rice flour, so these turnip cakes are gluten-free. Dried shrimp is another traditional ingredient that adds some texture and brininess to these cakes. Instead of using Chinese sausage as my aunt’s recipe calls for, I added more shitake mushrooms for a meaty texture and flavor. Cooking them mellowed out some of their sharp flavor. Using the food processor, I finely shredded the turnips and cooked them for a while until they were soft. Oh well, I decided to try making Chinese Turnip Cake with these round turnips anyway just to see how it would turn out.
